inspired by the successful viennese downbeat scene, this duo took their first ‘baby steps’ walking in the fields of electronic music. in search of their own identity, a stilistic renewal had taken place by the time they reached ‘puberty. for a short time the electronical components of their music were replaced by a pure acoustic concept. but in the process of growing up they went back to their roots and managed to unite the different musical styles creating a catchy part electronic, part acoustic sound.
the songs on their first recording were created in the small but cosy surroundings of mueller’s message living room recording studio, located in the center of vienna.
thus, the songs reflect the intimacy of the studio, on the one hand, and the expansive urbane feeling of the surrounding city, on the other.
rosie’s distinctive, refreshing vocals and andré’s unconventional melodic and rhythmic use of chapman stick and e-basses form an exciting contrast to the playful electronic parts of their music.
